As a Senior Digital Delivery Lead, you will take on a critical leadership role within our digital team, driving high-impact initiatives that transform Ageas's digital landscape. You will have end-to-end ownership of complex, large-scale digital programs, managing multiple squads and working at the strategic level with senior stakeholders.
In this role, you will guide cross-functional teams, using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Your influence will extend across the organization, as you collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to ensure alignment with Ageas's broader goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of large-scale, cross-functional digital programs, ensuring they align with business priorities and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple Agile delivery teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
Partner closely with senior business leaders and product owners to translate vision and strategy into actionable delivery plans.
Manage and mitigate risks across the digital delivery portfolio, proactively addressing challenges to maintain momentum and ensure successful outcomes.
Drive the evolution of digital delivery frameworks, ensuring they remain flexible, efficient, and scalable to meet business demands.
Oversee the planning and execution of sprints, ensuring teams remain on track with clear objectives and timelines.
Lead by example in adopting and embedding Agile principles and best practices across the organization.
Provide mentorship and guidance to delivery leads and project managers, helping to grow and develop talent within the team.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience in digital program management or senior delivery roles, ideally within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries.
Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex digital projects across multiple teams, from concept to completion.
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with the ability to scale Agile practices across an organization.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience influencing at the C-suite or executive level.
Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach, balancing long-term vision with day-to-day delivery.
In-depth knowledge of the latest digital trends and technologies, particularly those transforming the insurance or financial services sector.
Proven experience in budget management and resource allocation, ensuring optimal delivery performance.
