A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Cheltenham is seeking a skilled Private Client Tax Senior to join their team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing and advising on tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, including compliance, tax planning, and support on complex financial affairs. Working closely with an established team, you'll provide guidance and advice to clients while building on your technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience within a UK practice environment, either at a semi-senior level with aspirations to progress or a senior level seeking to apply their knowledge in a respected firm. Strong client-facing skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tax planning are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and review personal tax compliance for a range of clients
  • Advise on remuneration planning for company directors and shareholders
  • Assist with tax planning projects
  • Collaborate with Partners and Managers in delivering tax advisory assignments and complex planning projects
  • Stay informed on tax legislation and industry developments to provide current and accurate advice
  • Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA and/or ATT qualified or part-qualified
  • CTA qualified desirable
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Mixed and/or private client tax compliance experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for ongoing professional development
