Senior Youth Worker
- Hourly Rate: £12 - £16.50 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team in Ealing, starting from September. This part-time, permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in young people's lives. The position requires a commitment of 16 hours per week during term time, with sessions running from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 9 hours will be in the sessions and 7 hours will be for admin work.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with young people during sessions, providing support, mentorship, and guidance.
- Plan and deliver a range of activities that promote personal and social development.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to meet the needs of young people.
- Carry out administrative duties related to the sessions, including planning and evaluation.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the reporting of the service's impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Level 2 or above qualification in Health and Social Care/Childcare.
- Proven experience working with young people in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people and how to address them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and facilitate engaging activities.
- Good administrative skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
