Operations Support Administrator

We are looking to welcome an efficient and reliable Operations Support Administrator to our UK team.

About the Post:
You will be a key support to the UK team with day-to-day responsibility of delivering a range of administrative assistance.

The role is largely standalone and focuses on the areas of HR support, office co-ordination, health & safety, finance income processing, supporter care and project/event assistance.

The role is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, however we are happy to consider flexible working requests.

The following are essential:

  • Office Attendance: Ability to attend the office at least one day per week, with flexibility to adjust the specific day(s) as needed for emergencies or unforeseen matters.
  • Administrative Skills: Demonstrated skills in administrative tasks, which may include experience gained through internships, volunteer work, academic projects, or similar roles.
  • Quality Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numerical Skills: Proficient in handling basic accounting data and performing numerical tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work confidently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills, adept at prioritising tasks, managing conflicting demands, and meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • IT Skills: Good IT navigation, with the ability to learn and use unfamiliar systems and equipment.

It would be great if you had the following (but training can be provided if not):

  • Experience working in a similar or related role such as Office Assistant or Receptionist
  • Experience of travel arrangement, diary management and minute taking
  • Experience as a Fire Marshall and First Aider
  • Previous use of a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365

  • Trustworthy: Demonstrates high integrity and reliability, essential for handling confidential / sensitive data and co-ordinating the security of the office.
