Pharmacist Manager

A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to join an independent community pharmacy in Middlewich, Crewe (CW4).

Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated individual who is keen to grow services on a full-time permanent basis. This is a busy store, dispensing around 10,000 items per month, and is open Monday to Friday (8:30am to 7pm) and Saturday (8:30am to 5pm). This role is available on either a 4 or 5 day per week basis.

Salary is circa £60,000, based on 4 days per week (42.5 hours), depending on experience, as well as GPhC fees covered and a pension scheme. Our client is also keen to support with any training for services and the independent prescribing qualification, should you require!

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager

  • You must be registered with the GPhC,
  • MUR and NMS accredited and ideally a HLP leader.
  • Hardworking and reliable, keen to drive and grow services.
  • Be a good communicator, able to listen carefully to what patients say, as well as explain complex and sometimes sensitive information to the public and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work with others in a multidisciplinary team as well as lead others in a team.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy.
  • Deliver services to the local community.
  • Counsel and advise the public on the treatment of minor ailments.
  • Drive relationships with the local surgeries/care homes.
  • Improve service delivery and stay ahead of the competition by being commercially aware.
  • Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Increase profitability of the pharmacy.
