Primary School Teaching Assistant

A fantastic Primary School in Southall are looking forward to having a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team. Please know, this is a full time role, from Monday to Friday 08:30am to 4pm starting September 2024!

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant would be preferable, but you must have experience working with children in the UK

The Role:

  • Support children on a 1:1 capacity and/or in small groups as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Assist in children's early development and growth
  • Support children with additional needs when required
  • Work alongside colleagues to help create a fun, safe and stimulating learning environment for pupils and staff
  • Support teacher with preparing classroom materials

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Prior experience working as a Primary School Teaching Assistant is preferable, but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity (in the UK)
  • Passionate about working with children as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • Either live in Southall or within a commutable distance
