Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with one of the UKs fastest growing brands and ecommerce health and beauty business to recruit for a Digital Analyst on a permanent, full time basis.

Job title: Digital Analyst

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Start date: July - September 2024

Contract: Full time, perm, hybrid in office 2 days a week

The role:

In this role you will be working to bring Tag Management in house whilst supporting with the businesses AB Testing and Personalisation. You will support the day to day digital analytics and work with the team to provide insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Ecom team to gain a deeper understanding of visitor and campaign behaviour, optimising channel-based conversions.
  • Report, visualise, and present data to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Deliver actionable insights based on the analysis of web and marketing activity using GA4 and BigQuery.
  • CRO/AB Testing
  • Work with agencies and the Ecom team to identify product opportunities, problems, and potential experiment ideas.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support prioritisation decisions for improvements or further testing/analysis.
  • Assist in defining and measuring success criteria.
  • Collaborate with the team and third-party agencies to implement and deploy Google Tag Manager changes to the website.
  • Support the auditing, debugging, and maintenance of website tagging and data layer implementation to optimise tracking architecture.
  • Implement and modify pixel-based tracking.
  • Leverage expertise in digital data to work closely with the engineering team, ensuring comprehensive tracking and tagging of all important site aspects, aiding in analysing site performance and providing insights to the wider team.

Candidate criteria:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with a digital analytics tool, preferably Google Analytics.
  • Experience in digital marketing analytics with a strong understanding of marketing KPIs.
  • Proficiency in A/B and multivariate testing with a thorough understanding of statistical significance.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI) with the ability to create dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Familiarity with SQL and BigQuery is a bonus.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
