At Thomas and Dessain we are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading fund administration provider based in Southampton. They are looking for a Trainee Banking Admin to join there ever-growing team at their Southampton office. This company is known for it's fantastic staff, efficient procedures/process and innovative technology; they provide a world class service to private capital asset managers and investors.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare financial statements to UK GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Prepare periodical management accounting (inc NAV packs).
- Bookkeeping.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors, clients and advisors.
- Work with Admin team to ensure that financial statements deadlines are met.
- Meet with clients regarding financial reports and queries.
- Be a key part of creating, maintaining and adapting procedures.
About you:
- Part qualified in ACCA or ACA
- Previous knowledge or experience of UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Previous experience of bookkeeping
- Previous experience or knowledge of preparing management accounts
- Previous experience in a similar role
