**Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
- Proven experience teaching music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds.
**Key Responsibilities:
- **Develop and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a diverse student population.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student's progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical growth.
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choirs, and ensembles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education across the curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and educational best practices in music teaching.
