I am recruiting an Interim Part-time Finance Director (3 days per week / 1 day in the office) for a scale-up life sciences / BioTech business located close to Oxford.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will:
- Own the accounting processes for the business including month-end close, management accounts, authorising payments etc.
- Present financial information to the board.
- Attend board meetings and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Produce insightful and meaningful Management Information (MI) and Analytics.
- Ensure that ongoing process improvement occurs.
- Perform financial analysis with particular focus on cash flow.
- Build and manage banking and investor relationships.
Your profile:
- A hands on Finance Director (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent)
- Financial management experience gained in a similar sized (SME / start-up / scale-up) business where you have had responsibility for all financial activity from the bottom up reporting to a CEO / MD / Founder.
- Experience gained in an Investor backed business would be beneficial.
- Available at short notice and able to start early April.
Hybrid - 3 days per week with 1 day per week in the office
