The Role:
We're an independent block management company in Chelsea, looking for a Junior Property Manager to join our friendly and busy team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take charge of delivering a high standard of property management.
- Manage a small portfolio of about 20 small buildings.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and provide excellent customer care.
- Meet company goals and timelines.
- Identify new ways to bring in revenue for the business.
- Be adaptable and flexible to handle a variety of tasks as priorities change.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant laws, rules, and guidelines.
- Ensure necessary service contracts are in place.
- Regularly review service agreements, set service standards, and approve expenses within set limits.
- Inspect properties regularly and write reports.
- Conduct basic safety checks for each building.
- Review health and safety reports (e.g., fire safety, water safety, etc.) and arrange necessary improvements with clients.
- Work with health and safety experts and contractors as needed.
- Attend client meetings and some evening annual general meetings.
- Prepare service budgets for property maintenance.

What We're Looking For:
- 6 months of block management experience (either as admin or Junior Block Manager)
- Solid computer skills.
- Great customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A motivated and focused approach to work.
- Clear and friendly communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- A team-oriented attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Industry qualifications are a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of property laws and guidelines is beneficial.
