Are you a meticulous administrator with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple tasks with ease? Our client, a leading transport company, is seeking a Transport Administrator to ensure smooth operations within their fleet and driver management system. There is a measure of flexible hours within this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet and Driver Management: Keep all records up to date on systems like Fleetcheck and maintain vehicle spreadsheets. Add and remove vehicles/drivers, ensuring accurate information across the board.
  • Vehicle Compliance: Manage road tax, insurance, and other mandatory vehicle accounts (DART, congestion). Request and log regular vehicle inspections for both the active fleet and Greyfleet vehicles.
  • Driver Compliance: Monitor HGV driver hours, ensuring legal compliance with weekly driving limits. Record driver details, including licenses, medical certifications, and training requirements (FORS, e-learning).
  • Financial Administration: Handle transport invoices, including scanning, coding, and ensuring they're assigned to the correct vehicle records. Manage penalty notices, investigating, appealing, and processing payments as necessary.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Order and record fuel cards, track fleet vehicle mileage, idling times, and log all hire vehicle details, including cost and usage.

Additional Duties:

  • General Admin Support: Assist with reception duties, manage post, and provide administrative support across various departments including Health & Safety and Compliance.
  • Compliance Support: Aid supervisors with scaffold pavement licence applications, renewals, and payments.
