This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Recruitment Consultant to join our Recruitment team. We have been established for 30 years and due to the increased success as Essex's leading Catering Agency we are now looking to expand and grow our Catering Division.
Initially, the Assistant Recruitment Consultant will work alongside a Senior Consultants until such time you will be confident to work alone. As Assistant Recruitment Consultant you must be extremely driven with good communication skills.
The successful Assistant Recruitment Consultant will need to be a real 'foodie' and will love talking daily about food and drink to the passionate clients that we deal with. This role would suit a Chef or FOH person looking for a career change or someone from a role selling into the Catering Sector? Previous catering knowledge preferred but not essential.
Role:
- Sourcing candidates through existing database, job boards, advertising, social media and referrals.
- First point of contact for candidates, identifying their skills and matching with appropriate vacancies.
- Cold calling candidates / clients.
- Assisting with gaining compliance documentation for candidates.
- Sourcing suitable temporary and permanent vacancies from a range of clients.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all clients
- General administrative/sales support to the recruitment team.
- Working towards daily/weekly/monthly target, responsible for delivering on set targets.
Preferred Experience
- 2 years Sales Experience
- Well-developed skills in Word Processing (e.g. Microsoft Word), Spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) Emails (e.g. Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who is goal oriented and has a proven experience of working with a matter of urgency.
- Previous catering knowledge preferred but not essential.
You will be on-call and be required to work a mixture of shifts, including evenings and weekends. Car driver preferred.
