Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 plus car, and generous bonus and benefits package

Purpose of the Role:
As the Head of Project Execution, you will oversee major engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and delivering exceptional results. This pivotal role involves managing our extensive project portfolio, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and achieving financial objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of major projects, translating strategic directions into actionable initiatives.
Collaborate with business leaders and influence key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and visibility.
Monitor project health, manage integrated programmes, and introduce best practices to support successful project delivery.
Oversee Project Management Office (PMO) functions, ensuring continuous improvement in project methodology.
Manage project escalations and disputes, mitigate risks, and ensure high-level performance across regional projects.
Lead an international team of qualified engineers and project managers.
Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations throughout project execution.
Implement safety protocols and foster a safety-conscious culture among project teams.
CDM Management:
Oversee Construction Design and Management (CDM) processes.
Coordinate design, construction, and operational phases, emphasizing safety and efficiency.
Financial Management:
Collaborate with the finance team to forecast revenue and manage project costs.
Ensure adherence to IFRS15 accounting standards and oversee cashflow management.
General:
Promote a strong Health and Safety and Wellbeing culture.
Engage in continuous professional development and maintain a positive approach to work.
Uphold Flowtech's values and ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant legislation.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related fields.
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI, PRINCE2, or similar.
Extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Experience in fluid power.
Proficiency in software applications like Power BI.
Insight into engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction processes.
