We are looking for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a vibrant and high performing finance team in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for someone who values innovation, teamwork, and is eager to grow professionally within a dynamic organisation.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct variance analysis, investigating discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Support the annual statutory audit process, contributing to the overall compliance and reporting.
- Post payroll journals and manage accruals and prepayments, ensuring all financial activities are recorded correctly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide commentary on financial performance.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 12-18 months of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
