Description
- Assist the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Provide input into department's goal setting process.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close process.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Professional certification AAT (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or similar).
- Proficiency with accounting software (MS Office / Excel)
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
