Private Client Solicitor (1+ PQE)

A well-established legal practice with a history spanning over 90 years, is looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. They are dedicated to providing a range of personal and commercial legal services and are committed to the development of our staff, improving technology, and building a positive working culture.
Day to Day of the role:
- Preparation of Wills, including those aimed at asset protection and tax mitigation.
- Administration of Estates for business and private clients.
- Engage in Lifetime and Post-Death Tax Planning.
- Draft and register Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Orders.
- Contribute to the firm's marketing efforts, including article drafting, PR, business development, social media, and networking activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Circa 1+ years PQE in Private Client work.
- STEP or SFE qualification preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of Wills, estate planning, trusts, and administration of estates.
- Knowledge of Lasting Powers of Attorney and specialist advice for elderly clients.
- Excellent written communication skills using correct grammar and plain English.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, IT proficiency.
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a strong team player with a balance between technical ability and commercial awareness
