An exciting opportunity to join a leading UK leisure centre provider as Payroll & Benefits Business Partner has arisen in their Head Office in Dartford. My client operates nearly 30 leisure centres and lidos all over the country, providing exciting products and programmes for their customers. They require an experienced payroll professional looking to further their career and make a significant impact on the community's health and wellbeing.
The main responsibilities of the Payroll & Benefits Business Partner are:
- Lead the payroll team as well as oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of the wider team
- Handle all payroll activities including running monthly payroll for the business and managing payroll administration processes
- Work with the People Team on staff onboarding processes, contractual changes and staff payment structures
- Review and create payroll policies and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency
- Manage and educate staff on employee benefits including pension scheme
- Create and contribute to management training programmes
The candidate:
- Professional qualification such as CIPP is essential
- Experience in leading high volume monthly payroll and administering benefits
- Experience with time and attendance systems
- Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Attention to detail, high standards of accuracy and ability to multi-task while working with large volumes of work
