  • Hybrid role with up to 60% homeworking and 40% in Stratford-upon-Avon.

It's an exciting period of change at NFU Mutual. And to ensure these changes improve experiences for our people, our customers and our business, one of the first key areas of change is the Change division itself. We're reshaping how we manage change, introducing an enterprise-led approach and restructuring the division to provide the strategic leadership that will support the whole business through major transformation. It's about setting the strategic business agenda, establishing how we approach change in the future and supporting senior stakeholders across NFU Mutual through fundamental changes. And you can play a key role.

About the role

As a member of the NFUM Group Change leadership team, you'll be helping to shape and drive the future of change at NFU Mutual. As well as the vital role you'll play in developing and embedding our new Enterprise change strategy and business plans, you'll grow and lead a team of change management experts, embedding change management activities for a wide-ranging and evolving portfolio of complex, high-value projects and programmes.

In this role you'll design and embed an Enterprise approach to Change management ensuring that customers, leaders and end users are ready, willing and able to receive the change being delivered. This will include developing an organisational approach to needs analysis, training, change impact assessment, user acceptance testing and model office, along with a clear communications strategy so people are aware of their role in embedding change. You'll make sure every project and programme transitions smoothly into the business, so all benefits are realised.

Our genuinely supportive, collaborative culture gives you the opportunity to make your mark quickly, with plenty of scope to develop your career still further. This includes a healthy work-life balance that works for you, with great facilities when you want to be in an office environment, and support to work up to 60% of your hours from home.

About you

With a proven change management background, coupled with either delivery and/or Portfolio management/EPMO background, you'll have strong relevant technical capability and a track record of successfully delivering enterprise-led change management solutions.

As well as your deep technical expertise you will also be a strong people leader, great communicator and strategic thinker. Always close to industry developments, you'll understand developments in change management practices and know when and how to embed those into NFU Mutual. You'll find a culture that encourages collaboration and mutual respect, so you'll be used to taking a professional, collegiate approach to understanding and meeting the needs of senior stakeholders, while ensuring change happens. This means you'll need the ability to communicate complex information clearly, combined with strategic thinking and confident decision-making to deliver the best service for our members.

To succeed in this role, you must also have:

  • A Change Management Certification or business psychology qualification
  • PROSCI Practitioner certification
  • Project or Programme management certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Experience in leading a large team or department
  • Experience of managing budgets, expenditure tracking and reporting, headcount, and capacity assessment.

At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique. We celebrate the creativity and innovation that comes from diverse perspectives and experiences and share a common vision of doing the right thing for our customers and employees.

We're proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, a Race at Work and Women in Finance Charter signatory and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability, neurodiversity, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.
