ERP Support

Do you have Application Support skills with ERP software, or a similar software product such as dealer management systems, MRP, accounting software, property management solutions, fleet management or construction software, stock control or WMS software, or any other application software?

You will need to understand databases like SQL Server.

A wide salary range is on offer (£25K-£35K) as they will look at candidates with 12 months + application support, up to experienced ERP support people.

They need two more Application Support Analysts to join a busy team of ERP Support Consultants, with prospects to move into software implementation, project management or development in the future if you want to. They are located in Southampton in very nice offices, 2 dya home working and 3 days in the office.

This ERP software company has been in business for 25 years+ and provides total business solutions that cover accounting, order processing, stock & inventory, parts, supply chain, e-commerce, sales & marketing, CRM and job orders. Their solution is built with .Net and SQL Server and has a user-friendly, beautifully designed front end. It sells very well and is the leading product in their market.

They are looking for enthusiastic candidates, keen to learn, who have support skills within any application software sector, so it could be ERP, Property Management or Construction software, Accounting or Financial Software, MRP, HR or Payroll, or Field Service software, Fleet Management software or anything similar. Any knowledge of SQL Server or SQL or any database experience would be a bonus, but they can give you training which will add to your skillset for the future.

The specialist ERP software that they own and sell, covers lots of different modules and functions, so you will always be doing something different. This means the support emails and telephone calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated making this a nice working environment. The applications support people work on answering support telephone calls and get a lot of support tickets through their online Portal.

The role:

  • Answering support telephone calls and emails professionally and personably
  • Logging incidents clearly and concisely
  • Assisting clients via remote login
  • Progressing and resolving clients' problems confidently and effectively
  • Coping under pressure when busy and meeting SLA's
  • Being proactive, friendly, energetic and well organised
