Credit Control Supervisor

1to1 Group are seeking an experienced Credit Controller Supervisor to join our clients dynamic team in Thatcham.
We're looking for someone who is not only adept at credit control but also excels in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working within a fast-paced environment, with a strong background in credit control or a related accounts role. You'll need to be a proactive, independent worker with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
This is a full time, office based role, Monday to Friday 08.30am - 5.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily chasing of aging debt via phone and email
- Conducting account follow-ups and managing escalations
- Collating credits and refunds
- Coordinating the timely transfer of debt to legal teams
- Ensuring all communications are logged and maintained accurately in the account system
- Preparing and analysing monthly aged debt reports
- Performing account reconciliations across all finance systems
- Responding to emails within 24 hours
- Supporting the team with any ad-hoc tasks as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior credit control or similar role
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player who can also lead a team effectively
