Accounts & Payroll Assistant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be recruiting a permanent Accounts & Payroll Assistant for an expanding organisation based in Glasgow City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hard working Accounts Assistant to join a small friendly team.

The main duties:

  • Prepare and process a fortnightly payroll
  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Deal with payroll queries
  • Process invoices per department on to sage
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Process daily sales onto daily excel spreadsheet, which is then posted to sage
  • Reconcile all credit card to bank statement daily
  • Process business credit card expenditure
  • Process weekly mileage payments on bank portal
  • Generate quarterly rent invoices for commercial properties
  • Assist with quarterly VAT returns

Qualifications & experience:

  • Previous accounts and payroll experience
  • Sage experience is essential
  • Highly proficient Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
