As a Forest School Lead, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging outdoor learning sessions that inspire curiosity and a connection with nature.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore, experiment, and discover through hands-on activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate forest school principles into the broader curriculum.
- Manage and maintain the outdoor learning area, ensuring all resources and equipment are safe and accessible.
- Encourage positive behavior and social development, using the natural environment as a context for learning.
Requirements:
- Forest School Leadership Qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Commitment to child safety and safeguarding practices.
- A passion for outdoor learning and a creative approach to education.
