Cloud Centre of Excellence Lead
£750 a day outside IR35

- Support the SRE Lead in driving service improvements with managed service provider
- Any experience with SRE - managing teams, implementation of SRE framework would be a big plus
- Experience of outsourced vendor / supplier management and driving improvements essential
To be responsible for leading and guiding the Cloud CoE team to drive the execution of the company's cloud strategy.
This role will lead the introduction and maturity of cloud computing capabilities into the organization through the Cloud CoE acting as an internal consulting and governance body, providing expertise, support, and standardization for cloud-related initiatives covering architecture, SRE, FinOps and Cloud engineering.

Qualifications:
Cloud certifications desirable
Supporting qualifications such as ITIL, DevOps training, Agile certifications & qualifications desirable

Knowledge and Experience:
- Extensive experience in cloud adoption and migration, including cloud-native or hybrid solutions including:
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices, cloud adoption frameworks and hybrid cloud environments
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate processes, using tools such as Terraform, ARM, Chef, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Cloud platform engineering (DevSecOps) & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) to drive accountability, visibility, and cost efficiency
- Observability to enable SRE, improving performance, reliability and stability
- Cloud governance, compliance frameworks, and industry standards
- Experience in managing and leading a team, including coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Experience of working in a Centre of Excellence structure driving adoption and alignment to standards and best practices.
