Reed Accountancy are seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join the growing department of a Top 60 accounting firm in Central London. This hybrid role involves both office presence and the flexibility of home working. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio serviced by their own team and work closely with a partner, requiring excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Ensure the delivery of compliance services and manage ad-hoc projects as they arise.
- Review team members' work and assist in their training and development.
- Prepare proposals for potential clients and contribute to business development.
- Manage multiple assignments and ensure client compliance requirements are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualification with previous managerial experience.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering accounts and managing a team of accountants.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Sage, Quickbooks, and some knowledge of Xero software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
