Housing Project Worker (Floating Support)
Do you have experience that could be suitible for this brand new position of Housing Project Worker for its Floating Support Service? A critical role in delivering tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention services. The Floating Support team offers tailored, flexible housing support across the area, helping clients with varying tenure types to live independently. The service is person-centred, empowering individuals while respecting their cultural and personal backgrounds. As a Project Worker, you will manage a dispersed caseload of up to 30 clients and coordinate holistic support interventions in collaboration with other professionals.
Benefits:
- Salary banding: £26054 - £28,357 DOE
- Hours of work 37hrs on a rota and will cover some weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and manage risk plans to safeguard clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date case reviews, assessments, and action plans that empower clients toward independence and improve their quality of life.
- Provide intensive housing management to residents, ensuring timely housing benefit claims and preventing tenancy breakdowns.
- Collaborate with community agencies and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.
- Help clients access educational, training, and employment opportunities, supporting them in gaining greater independence.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals facing complex needs, including mental and physical health issues, substance use, and histories of rough sleeping.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and ability to undertake risk assessments.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of written work, including case records and client notes.
- Proven capacity to motivate and engage clients, encouraging recovery and independence.
