We are currently working with a large company that oversee the maintenance and preparation of a large fleet of vehicles including HGV's, vans and plant machinery. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to bring on board another Mechanic. The successful candidate will come from an HGV maintenance background and have a class 2 licence.
**HGV/Plant Mechanic
Position Overview
- Fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance and repair on a large range of fleet vehicles including; HGV's, vans and plant machinery
- Prepping vehicles for MOT
- Travelling to site for breakdowns
- Working within a team of 5, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor
- Ensuring regulatory requirements are met and adhered to
**HGV/Plant Mechanic
Position Requirements
- Previous experience within heavy vehicle mechanical maintenance
- Qualified to Level 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Service, Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
- Happy to travel to site for repairs as required
- Based within commutable distance of Dudley
- Happy with 1 in 4 call out rota
- Class 2 driving licence
**HGV/Plant Mechanic
Position Remuneration
- £18.00 - £20.00 per hour + on call rates
- Hours Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00
- 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
- Overtime available
- Training and progression
- Pension
