Logistics and Sales Administrator Full or Part time - flexible on hours ( minimum 30 hours per week) Brierley Hill/Dudley Permanent

We have a vacancy for a Logistics and Sales Administrator at our manufacturing facility located in Brierley Hill. This is an important role within a small team with the core responsibilities surrounding export/import shipping duties, in support of our global customer and supplier base.

In addition to the day to day shipping duties you will be supporting our Sales, Production Planning, Quality and Accounts teams, with all areas of administration.

Regular duties would include:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Raising despatch notes
  • Raising invoices / credit notes
  • Processing and communicating export documentation - certificates of origin/bills of lading
  • Liaising with transport companies to negotiate rates and arrange freight
  • Sales order processing - contract review, order entry & stock allocation
  • Raising customer quotations
  • Updating the CRM system
  • Providing customers with delivery updates
  • Filing

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/characteristics:

  • Customer service orientated
  • Ability to prioritise their workload

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage 200 would also be beneficial.
