Join Our Team as a Senior Design Engineer

This renowned company, a leader in the shower and water heating market, is seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to join their innovative Product Development team in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
We are looking for someone who lives within a 25 mile radius of Nuneaton.
This role comes with an attractive annual salary up to £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience).
We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer who will be heavily involved within Engineering opposed to needing someone who has man-management experience.
We are looking for someone who has experience within the Consumer Goods Appliances Industry, and ideally has some plastic mouldings knowledge/experience.

What You Will Do:
- Take ownership for the design, development, and introduction of strategic projects.
- Ensure products meet regulatory standards for safety, function, and reliability.
- Incorporate sustainability goals into new product design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products to market faster.
- Utilize 3D CAD (SolidWorks) for model creation, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Oversee and assist in the design validation through testing and development of products.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer in the consumer goods appliance industry.
- BTEC Higher National Certificate in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally with Sustainable Design Experience.
- Experience in designing with plastic materials and working within tight time lines and budgets.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as required.
