Project Manager and Implementation Lead

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Project Manager and Implementation Lead, Children and Family Hubs for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of projects for the Children & Family Hubs Programme, driving transformative service improvements and ensuring effective implementation and stakeholder engagement.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Lead and manage key work streams within the Children and Family Hubs Programme.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to commissioning processes and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage communications across diverse sectors.
  • Produce research, data analysis, and briefing documents to inform decision-making.
  • Apply evidence-based decision-making to address complex service area issues and propose solutions.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Significant experience working in Children's Centres, Family Hubs, or related early years and family support services.
  • Proven track record in managing projects, including planning, delivery, and reporting within the public sector or a related field.
  • Experience in leading change and transformation initiatives, particularly in the context of service delivery and program development.
  • Experience in public health, consulting, public policy, or commissioning, with a clear understanding of how these areas intersect with children and family services.

What's on offer:

Salary: £29+ph

  • may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
