Your new role
As a qualified Maths teacher, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring students in KS3 and KS4. Creating high-quality lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum. Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills are crucial. You will be responsible for assessing work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a thorough understanding of curriculum materials.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified Maths teacher, with recent experience and the ability to provide references. Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is crucial. You must feel confident in delivering lesson plans to KS3 and KS4 students and be able to manage groups of 20-30 students. You will need to effectively handle challenging behaviour and have a team-oriented attitude with the ability to build positive relationships is essential. Computer literacy and knowledge of health and safety are vital to your success.
