Junior Network Engineer - Sunderland
The Company:
Lorien Global are working with a multinational manufacturing organisation whom are seeking to expand their networking capabilities. With growth planned over the coming years there's opportunity to grow with the business into a more senior role.
The Role:
Joining the infrastructure team, you'll be working alongside the current network specialist helping with the delivery of projects. This project based experience will allow you great insight into how network infrastructure underpins the connectivity of organisations.
The business offer excellent training and support, coming in as a junior you'll have a bespoke training plan built around your ambitions and current ability.
The Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a blend of the following:
- Good knowledge of Network Infrastructure including basic Routing and Switching knowledge (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Firewalls and how the integrate into the Network
- Excellent communication skills, working across various departments
- Good aptitude and the desire to progress your career as a Network Engineer
- Some understanding of more advanced R&S protocol is helpful but not essential (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
