Title: Van Driver
Gi Group is working in partnership with one of the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, which has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a self-employed driver.
Location: Edinburgh, EH48
Pay rate - £117.00 per day + weekly performance bonus!
Hours of work:
- Working up to 9 hours per day with start times between 10.30am and 12.00pm
- Full time and Part time available
Start Date: As soon as possible
Training: Full training provided
Self-Employed Driver Responsibilities include:
- Loading of vehicle each morning
- High volume deliveries following 3-week onboarding process.
- "Job and knock" - paid day rate
Self-Employed Driver Requirements:
- A full and valid Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence
- A minimum of 1 year's driving is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months commercial van driving experience for Multi-Drop Delivery is preferred.
- Driving licence must be in current home address.
- We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
- We're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly.
- You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 25kg)
- You will be required to pass basic DBS and Drug & Alcohol test.
