Our client, with offices based in Peterborough are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday. This is an office based position.
As Finance Assistant, you will support both purchase ledger and sales ledger, balance sheet reconciliation's, accruals and prepayments, cash flow, fixed asset register maintenance, assisting with month end and management accounts preparation, assisting with audits, VAT returns, assisting with payroll and HR administration, along with general office administration.
To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant, you will have at least 1 years recent and practical experience in operational accounts, you will ideally be an AAT studier at level 3, or be qualified by experience, be strong with Excel and MS Office, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills and will be highly numerate.
In return our client is offering a salary of up to £32,000, 32 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, pension scheme, life assurance, health scheme, career development and training, on site parking.
