Procurement Manager
- Annual Salary: 50K - 60K (with discretionary 10% bonus)

A leading organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to enhance and streamline procurement processes. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement excellence, ready to develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies and drive cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement visionary sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while managing these critical relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice.
- Analyse market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations throughout all sourcing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven procurement experience, with a strategic approach to sourcing vendors or suppliers.
- Demonstrable passion, energy, drive, and agility.
- Resilience in achieving ambitious targets and the ability to respond positively to setbacks.
- Skilled in analysing complex information to create clear and communicable solutions.
- Goal-oriented, with a willingness to take measured risks for competitive advantage.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- CIPS qualifications are preferable.
