Our client, Vanguard, is seeking an Incident & Problem Manager to join their Controls Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work for a globally recognised investment company that stands out with its unique approach to handling funds solely in the interests of its clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening an internal control framework, identifying and remedying control gaps, and ensuring effective design and operation of controls. This position is based in London and offers a hybrid working model.
What you'll do:
As an Incident & Problem Manager at Vanguard, you will be instrumental in developing the internal control framework. You will lead control identification, design, implementation, and testing within your assigned division. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and remedying control gaps while ensuring the effective design and operation of controls. You will also provide consultation, facilitation, and analytical support to align internal controls effectively. Additionally, you will support the development and distribution of management reporting data. Building strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be a significant part of your role.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Incident & Problem Manager role at Vanguard brings proven experience in audit or risk management. You may hold an undergraduate degree or has an equivalent combination of training and experience. You possess the ability to develop an internal control framework along with experience in identifying and remedying control gaps. Your strong skills in consultation, facilitation, and analytical support set you apart. You also have experience supporting the development and distribution of management reporting data.
