An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a family-run transport and logistics company. Due to continued growth, they are seeking someone to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track deliveries to ensure they reach their final destination on time.
  • Verify delivery schedules, promptly notifying customers of any delays or issues.
  • Handle a high volume of customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with the Traffic Department to update systems with any changes, such as pallet quantities or delivery dates.
  • Check Network Partners' systems to confirm that all pallets are out for delivery, and inform customers of any issues.
  • Arrange re-routes as necessary, such as in cases of mislabelled pallets.
  • Manage the unallocated freight sheet from the warehouse, which details any pallets that have not been dispatched but are scheduled for delivery today.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in a logistics or transport environment, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with delivery tracking systems and updating internal databases.
  • Familiarity with handling unallocated freight and coordinating with warehouse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.
