Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Plymouth
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office/onsite, 2 days remote)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000
Robert Half is partnering with a well-established engineering company in Plymouth to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity to provide critical financial advice and accurate reporting to Business Unit and Project Managers, helping them maintain strong financial control and optimise profitability, cash flow, and value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the preparation and analysis of accounts, ensuring compliance with the monthly reporting schedule.
- Ensuring data integrity and maintaining audit trails to support both internal and external audit requirements.
- Working closely with Project Teams to prepare and present monthly Project Status Packs for management reviews, with quarterly presentations for Senior Management.
- Raising customer invoices accurately and promptly, in line with contractual terms and management reporting needs.
Requirements:
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Working towards a qualification within (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel
