Our client, a well-regarded organization in the sports industry, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Administrator to join their team. This role will support the finance function in day-to-day accounting activities, helping to ensure accurate financial records and efficient processing of transactions. This fully remote position is ideal for someone looking to work part-time with flexibility 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate entry of invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Generate financial reports and support data analysis for senior management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
