Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager (4 days considered)

Posted by AF Selection.

If you love a great consumer brand and you're a specialist in both social media and digital marketing, this brand new role could be ideal for you. They're brilliant at social currently, but need a bit of focus towards the rest of their digital marketing offering, and so they've created this brand new role to do just that!

The role:

This brand is targeting under 17's and their parents so the social media you'll undertake will be fresh, vibrant and exciting but be able to reach both audiences, and with a full UK presence for their sites there's a lot to do! The aim of this role is to expose the brand to new audiences as well as overhauling their customer comms through segmenting the database and sending more personalised emails and messaging to customers.

They're across all the main consumer social media channels, (Tiktok, Instagram,Youtube, X and Facebook) and you'll also engage with influencers to increase awareness, web traffic and sales. You'll also respond to queries and comments on social media, but this is strictly within working hours. Obviously analysing the campaigns is going to be a key part of what you're involved with and the aim is that you'll assist in helping them to double their reach and followers.

From a digital marketing perspective, they're really open to suggestions; naturally email is going to play a big part but website, SEO, PPC etc. are all options for them moving forward. They've got a very open mind as to how they reach their target.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with a couple of years' experience working on consumer brands with experience of both social media and broad digital marketing. You'll have experience across the aforementioned channels and you'll be able to showcase your successes and how you've driven follower numbers to drive commercial success. You'll also be confident enough to suggest strategy for other areas of digital marketing and ways to improve social engagement.

Due to location, you'll also need to have a full driving licence - they're very rural, and the bus service is not conducive to working hours!

What's on Offer?

Salary level for the role is really going to depend on experience and our client is keen not to miss out on candidates by setting a rigid salary guide, however, we would expect the salary to be between £32-36k, but if you're on a bit less or a bit more, do still send your CV over. There is also the possibility of the role being offered as part-time - 4 days per week for the right candidate, and you'll be in the office for 80% of your working week.
