This exciting opportunity will suit a talented Assistant Management Accountant/Accountant looking to move upwards into a Management Accountant position.
The business will provide full study support, have a demonstrable history of promoting from within and will give you the opportunity to manage a small team.
Salary up to £35,000 and study support
South Manchester/Hybrid working
Key Duties:-
- Assistance in the production of Management Accounts and balance sheet recs
- Finance business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Budgets and Forecasts
- Support the year-end audit process
- Management of a small team
- VAT - review and approve quarterly VAT returns
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects
Key skills/Qualifications:-
- Degree or AAT educated (study support given for ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic and well organised
- Strong communication skills
