You're a Graduate Structural Engineer or Junior Structural Engineer looking to fast track your career to run your own Design office. You'll work alongside a Senior Structural Engineer for an industry leading manufacturer who will develop and mentor you to become an expert in your field. Ultimately, you'll go on to run the Design office for our sister business.
BASIC SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000

If you're an ambitious and qualified Structural Engineer, could be your ideal opportunity. You'll be mentored and supported to become the primary approver for all structural calculations for our busy projects office. Your decisions will have a significant impact across our business as we grow.
Our Senior Structural Design Engineer will work alongside you as you create and sign-off projects for our parent company. Ultimately, they will train you to be responsible for improving the structural design process and efficiencies of our small, but very busy engineering design office.
You'll be involved in:
- Creating calculation packs for our industry leading gantry structures.
- Carrying out customer site survey visits.
- Communicating effectively with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth order flow.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Structural Engineer, Design Engineer, Design Engineer, Civil Structural Engineer, Structural Steel, Civil Engineer, Foundation Design, Mechanical Design
You're qualified to degree level or HNC / HND with relevant work experience in Structural Engineering or a related field.
You will also:
- Have experience using CAD systems to design 2D & 3D Parts and assemblies (Tekla is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided).
- Working knowledge of relevant design standards.
- Be able to work from heights on customer site visits.
- Have experience in anything Structural and demonstrate a hunger to learn something new if it's an unrelated field.
