Robertson Bell is partnering with a fantastic public sector organisation as they embark on an exciting period of change and transformation. They are seeking a Finance Transformation contractor to join them for an initial nine-month period. The role is inside IR35 and is based in Gloucestershire with very flexible working arrangements.
The main duties include:
- Working closely with the new CFO on potential restructures focusing on offering a more centralised and business partnering approach within the complex organisation.
- Lead on the procurement and implementation of a new payroll system.
- Examine existing process to produce managements and identify and implement improvements.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand how finance can improve the level of reporting to the wider organisation to ensure robust financial management.
The successful candidate will be:
- A chartered accountant (essential).
- Able to demonstrate strong business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Ideally experienced within the public/not for profit sector.
