SEMH & SEN Learning Support Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Slinfold. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with their educational journey and thriving in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Provide one-on-one support to students, catering to their individual needs and ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Work closely with teaching staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with the implementation of classroom activities, personalized learning plans, and student assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant within state or independent schools is highly desirable.
- Candidates with transferable skills from backgrounds such as residential support worker, care worker, or individual needs assistant are also welcome to apply.
- A genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health issues).
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young learners.

Salary: £90-£95 Per Day
Hours: 08:30-15:15
Availability: Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
