Our People Team is key to this transformation, and we are looking for an experienced Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Wellbeing Specialist to help shape an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

The Role:
As our EDI & Wellbeing Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our EDI & Wellbeing strategies. This senior specialist role is essential to our mission of ensuring that everyone at Calisen feels welcome, valued, and supported. • Programme Management:

  • Oversee the delivery of all EDI and wellbeing programmes, ensuring they address the most critical areas for our colleagues and meet strategic and legislative requirements.

  • Continuously review and advance the EDI policy, ensuring it is integrated throughout the colleague lifecycle and enhances representation where needed.

  • Data-Driven Insights:

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of colleague data to inform and refine our EDI and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Monitor and drive improvements in colleague survey results, focusing on EDI and wellbeing metrics.

  • Wellbeing Strategy:

  • Own and manage the wellbeing strategy across mental and physical health, financial stability, and social wellbeing.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including ExCo sponsors, senior leaders, and network groups, to ensure alignment and support for EDI and wellbeing plans.

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance diversity through our external hiring and internal talent development programmes.

  • Collaborate with the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) team to contribute to our Calisen Impact report and ensure our EDI and wellbeing initiatives align with broader corporate goals.

  • Network Leadership:

  • Act as the lead for our network and employee resource groups, fostering collaboration and guiding them to achieve meaningful objectives that support our overall EDI strategy.

  • Forge and manage external partnerships that advance our commitments to EDI and wellbeing.

  • External Representation:

  • Represent Calisen at external events and forums, sharing our experiences and bringing back insights that can enhance our internal strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement and Learning:

  • Stay at the forefront of EDI and wellbeing developments, benchmarking within our sector and leveraging research from external partners to inform and refine our priorities.

  • Create and facilitate learning opportunities to increase the business's capability in EDI matters, working closely with the Talent Development team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing impactful EDI and Wellbeing strategies within a large, nationally dispersed organization.
  • A proven track record of driving change and building inclusive workplaces where wellness is a core focus.
  • Visionary thinking with the ability to translate ideas into actionable, measurable strategies that make a tangible difference.
