We are seeking a Financial Controller to take full responsibility for the EMEA region of a Manufacturing business in Royston. As Financial Controller you will ensure the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the business units in the UK and Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced finance leader who excels in compliance, financial reporting, and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting for EMEA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, detailed management reports, and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across EMEA operations, manage internal controls, and lead external audit processes.
- Oversee regional cash flow management, treasury operations, and develop strategies for foreign exchange risks.
- Lead and develop the finance team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Progressive senior finance experience, ideal within a multinational company.
- Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong financial systems skills and advanced Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
