Job Duties:
- Supervising and providing care for children in a nursery setting
- Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children
- Observing, assessing, and recording each child's progress
- Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Valid DBS check
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Education:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
Experience:
Prior experience working in a nursery setting is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
Working Conditions:
Work will primarily take place in a nursery setting, following scheduled hours. May involve some lifting and bending. Must adhere to safeguarding and health & safety regulations at all times.
