As a Hydraulic Modeller, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. Whether it's reducing flood risks, restoring wetlands, or addressing the impacts of climate change, your work will leave a lasting legacy.
You will be expected to develop and build hydraulic models using Tuflow and Flood Modelling. Complete flood risk management, nutrient neutrality and wetland restoration projects.
- Analyze and interpret hydrological and hydraulic data. -Flood Estimation and GIS Mapping.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to climate change adaptation strategies by assessing potential impacts and mitigation measures.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.-Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hydraulic modelling and environmental management.
-Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver innovative design solutions. -Team building days with staff across UK offices.
Applicants are required to have the following criteria;
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, or a related field.
- Experience in hydraulic modelling software such as TUFLOW and Flood Modeller.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for hydrology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An interest in flood risk management, wetland restoration, nutrient neutrality and climate change projects.
