Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Perform variance analysis to understand the performance of the business.
- Profit & loss accounts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accounts.
- Comply with all financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects as required.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
