Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator
Basildon, Essex
Permanent, Full time position
Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum DOE
I am working with an Industry leader who are searching for a Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:
Working within the Transport & Warehouse team you will be responsible for processing orders, overseeing the order cycle and ensuring stock and materials are processed correctly
- Coordinate the logistics training
- Monitor inventory by completing inventory counts
- Document actions needed for each order
- Processing orders
- Arrange transportation to ensure deliveries arrive on time
- Ensure the warehouse capacity is kept at optimal level
- Manage activities throughout the entire cycle
- Complete reports on stock and transport
- Streamlining the warehouse and transport process
- Liaising with other departments to ensure the order is processed correctly
- Keeping up to date with prices of raw materials
- Work alongside the Operations Manager when working towards common operational activities
- Maintaining archived data physically and or digitally
- Reporting of quality issues to the Senior Management Team, bringing to their attention any problems or discrepancies, deviations from procedure or other quality incidents
- Ensure purchases/arrivals are cleared through on the day of arrival
- Run daily reports ensuring all stock is current to its actual location, Investigate and liaise with persons in affected areas to correct imbalances
- Management of Annual (or any declared) Stock Check procedures and teams, liaising with company external auditors where required
Experience:
- Previously worked within a similar Warehouse / Inventory coordinator role
- Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) & Good Distribution Practice (GDP) is always followed (Training will be provided)
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times
